This post is a continuation of my first post regarding my birthday trip to Hong Kong [here!]
I kinda miss my hair extension! And I'm going to do so once again in mid-June so that I can be pweetty for my buddy's wedding!
Right.. Sorry for side-tracking.. As I was saying, below are what we did on our first day in Hong Kong after checking in to our hotel.
Selfie first before anything!
Happy!
I've forgotten the route to The Peak Terminus and went the longer way instead but in case you're like me, alight at Admiralty Station, take this bus at the bus terminal just behind the shopping mall!
Reached!
It was around 5pm when we reached the Lower Peak Tram and not as crowded as I thought it would be. *Don't ask me why I closed my eyes lol!*
*Updated during my trip in April 2015!
So this is the new price list if you're thinking of getting it on the day itself.
We purchased our ticket on the spot though you can also purchase them at their online site.
Peak Tram Operating Hours :
7 am to 12 midnight (Mon - Sun & Public Holidays)
Frequency :
Departs every 10 to 15 minutes.
While waiting for the peak tram to arrive!
There was a bunch of Korean and China Tourists and they just pushed their way in, even when there wasn't much space left in front and the tram door wasn't open. They were very rude too without apologizing when they bumped onto you. I just couldn't be bothered with such people and just be good and stick to queuing.
*Selfies are before the waiting area was crowded.
We were slightly famished and decided to have something to fill us up before we head to Madame Tussauds.
And just beside it, there's this Chinese eatery which we thought will be authentic Hong Kong Chinese food but apparently...... I learnt my lesson.
The next time if I visit The Peak, I shall have some snacks beforehand.
Wanton E-fu noodle soup
This taste like noodle and wanton in hot water!
Super bland till I have to ask for chili oil.
The wanton was not so bad but I thought the soup can warm me up because the weather was cold.
Curry Pork Chop Rice
Melvin ordered this. The curry was not too bad, flavorful and pork chop was tender enough. However, I feel the curry portion wasn't generous enough though.
oh well. Never heading back.
Decided to check out beautiful scenery before we head in.
The temperature was at 19 degrees but it got colder during the night falls.
I was already feeling 12-16 degrees when I was at the peak.
Madame Tussauds time!
Here are just some of the photos we took!
Be warned!
It's Photo Spam!

I kinda like Jay's current fashion and look though.
He's getting more mature looking and seems such a nice hubby to Hannah.
Sweet couple! Stay loving and happy always!

She was wearing quite a high platform!
Almost same height as me.

The night view was splendid but at the same time cold....grrrr~
He tried to blow out some cold fog.
There was though but I couldn't capture it in picture.
I miss this beautiful place already~
Gotta go back to the Lower Peak Tram Terminus.
Check out the crowd queuing to get in!
*see? So many people wearing thick jackets and all.
Bye~ The Peak!
It was a Fun-tastic evening spent!

**
We headed opposite our hotel to have some light supper and
found this small stall that serves awesome porridge!
Chicken Thigh Porridge!
Super tender chicken thigh, silky smooth porridge so soft that it melts in your mouth!
It's light but yet able to fill us up! Thumbs up!
Mix Pork with Century Egg Porridge
Very tasty and flavorful! The pork liver and lean meat was very well-cooked and it doesn't like you're eating rubber! I miss their porridge! :(
It was a great night spent with Melvin.
He helped me by carrying half of my stuff (cameras, selfie sticks, bottles of water, blah blah blah) and never once complain about carrying loads and feeling achy.
Thank you my love. <3 I love you!
I'll be drafting Day 2 of my Hong Kong Trip, so stay tune!
Till then,
