[Night Life in SG] Martell VSOP Black Tie Edition by Jason Wu event party at Zouk Singapore

Hey guys!

I know I haven't been really updating my blog and I really think I should update much more often because some of my readers are already asking me where am I! hahaha! okok I'm back now!

 yay :)

I'm about to share one remarkable event which took place at Zouk Singapore recently and this event definitely leave some great memories, so, this shall be marked as my first blog post for the the year 2015! 

As you all know that Zouk Singapore will be closing pretty soon and most of my youngest time (during weekends) was literally spent here. Yeah, I clubbed, chilled and enjoyed myself here with my friends when I was in my early twenties. I'm sure many of u do share the same feeling - we will miss this awesome place!

I feel super thankful as I was one of the winner who joined  one of Juice Singapore's FB contest - exclusive invites and bag a bottle of Martell Black Tie Edition by Jason Wu home! Omg! Can you believe it? That's what I told myself! We are going to have a great night! ME and Melvin! Woohoo!

And so, on 30th January 2015, Friday.....

We attended the party with joy and a thankful heart!

Black Tie Edition

Outside the entrance,

there's a photo booth where we can get our pictures taken and get it upload into instagram with hashtags #martellblacktie #martellblacktiecontest to join the event contest.

The highlight of the event

There are 2 cocktails that have been concocted specially for the party:

The Wu [Inspired by Jason Wu] (left)

Martell VSOP, Cherry Brandy, Simple syrup topped up with ginger ale and garnished with a cherry

Georgian mint Julep (right)

Martell VSOP, Peach Liqueur, Garnished with mint leaves

My very first bottle of Martell VSOP Black Tie Edition by Jason Wu.

I would prefer 'The Wu' as it tasted lightly fruity sweet and you get to really taste the intense note of the Martell. Very Nice! 

Super love the bottle so much!

It's matte finish with elegance indeed!

From far it does look like it's wearing a tuxedo! Cute!

There was promotion going on during the event it was definitely a blast!

We were also given a black bow-tie as part of the party theme and so we tried wearing it.

I can actually keep it for future use! 

Very good quality! *auntie-mode on*

How do I look?

Hahaha.. he was enjoying every bit until I started putting this bow-tie for him! LOL

Did I tighten it too much? hmm.. 

At the end of the event, I am so grateful because they'd announced that I'm one of the Instagram contest winner and manage to bring home another bottle of Martell VSOP Black Tie Edition!! 

They said I made an effort to collage and edit despite the environment is dark. 

*awww...* It's so sweet to hear this!

It was definitely an enjoyable and remarkable night spend at Zouk Singapore for this event!

The ladies were so professional and friendly. I was a little lost as to where to get into the line or should I even queue even though I have registered under guest-list (there were many queues and some youngsters just cut queue or push their way in front to get in, only to know they're asked to go outside and have a 5-mins break before joining in the queue again -_-''').

Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World continues the battle in Singapore cinemas on October 31, 2013

Hey everyone!

One of the 'Movie of the Year' is finally in Singapore cinemas!! 

I can still remember how Thor, so suave and macho nacho swept into our cinemas with his story between realms and a heart-wrenching romance.

And now, Marvel's Thor: The Dark World continues the adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself.

In the aftermath of “Marvel’s Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness.

Like why doesn't anything kills Malekith right? okay I get it. He have to survive so that we get to continue watching this movie. lol!

Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on a journey that will reunite him with Jane Foster but force him to sacrifice everything, to save us all.

Malekith and his army of dark elves will stop at nothing to wreak havoc and to continue to seek vengeance. This ancient race has to be completed.

Gosh! I'm already so excited to catch this movie. Like it's gonna be an awesome and must-watch movie!

And I imagine myself having Thor's Mjolner for a day....

I would have use it to teleport myself and maybe fly to places that I've never been like Paris, London, Korea (*YES! I've never been there yet but one day, just one day and hopefully is soon that I'll visit Korea! <3) and many many many many more!

Oh! And it does even save a person's life by resurrection! How cool!

Experts.. Duh! of course, they're the experienced lot!

2) Price and Sales - 

So many brands in the market but can you afford buying beauty products and spending almost half of your salary buying them when you have no idea if it suits you even though it's highly recommended? Sometimes you will hold on and wait for a sale to go on and buy it. Most of us does that. We want the best at a price we think we can afford. So pricing is one of the issue, maybe not to all of you, but in this case, me. 10% off is still something, no? 

3) Pressure Buying (Risk)

I've ever purchased skincare products just cause the Sales Person 'Sales Talk' me and persuaded me to buy(*so dumbo, that was when i was young like 15, 16 years old?). I remember spending like couple of hundreds on them and tried using it for a month or so and at the end, causes sensitiveness and breaks me out or it just don't suit me at all. The products will be left untouched or pass on to my mum after that month of insecurity. I've learnt to do my research, no impulse buying but buy if it suits me e.g. ingredients, color, pricing and so on.

Finally attended the most anticipated event of the year - 6th Singapore Blog Awards 2013 at
Shanghai Dolly on Saturday, 6 July 2013 and it was a total blast!
It was my first time attending the SBA and I really enjoyed it alot!

This year's SBA theme is the 60s Fever.

Media, VIPs and many fellow bloggers attended and most of them dolled up and rocking the theme!
